Day 01 : Arrive – Srinagar.-Sonmarg

Arrival  at Srinagar Airport, leave for Sonamarg for a Day trip the name Sonamarg is derived from two

Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which mean “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means Meadow of Gold”  The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. in Sonamarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4Kmsfrom Sonamarg a Local Taxi Or Pony Ride has to be hired (on your own Expenses) )  return back  in the evening after enjoyed your day, overnight stay in Hotel at Sonmarg .

Day 02: Sonmarg- Kargil.

After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Kargil , enroute visit  Sonamarg, Jojilla pass, Zero point, Meena Marg,  Kargil war memorial and overnight stay at Kargil hotel.

Day 03: Kargil – Leh.

Early morning, after breakfast depart to Leh enroute visit  Namki La pass, Fotu La pass, Lamayuru, Sangam, Magnetic hill, Hall of fame, gurudwara  pathar sahib and overnight at Leh Hotel.

Day 04: Leh Local sightseeing.

Day free for Leh local sightseen like Leh Palace,  Shanti Stupa, Zorawar fort. Kali Mata Temple, Market and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Leh to Nubra Stay Overnight. ( 130 km / 5-6 hrs.)

After breakfast late morning check out from the camp and proceed to leh. We will drive to Nubra valley in the morning, driving over the highest motored pass in the world. The exciting journey through serpentine roads leads us to the Khardungla Pass at an awesome height of 5550 meters. We stop at the pass to admire and click some photographs of the fantastic view, before driving down into the Nubra valley. The valley is situated on an old caravan route at the confluence of the Shyok and the Nubra rivers. We drive to our fixed camp resort. Unwind yourself and enjoy the charming beauty of the valley. Stay overnight at camp.

Day 06: Nubra Valley – Turtuk- Nubra.

After breakfast, we would be driven to Turtuk, Turtuk is 92 Kms from diskit along the shayok river. Turtuk is also known as gateway of Siachin glacier and last village of union territory of ladakh. Day free for local sightseen of beautuful valley and overnight stay at camps in hundur.

Day 07: Nubra Valley – Pangong via shayok river (120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs)

After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive to for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Shayok river , Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the color changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.

Day 08: Pangong to Leh Half Day Sightseeing (130 km / 5-6 hrs drive):

We will drive back to Leh. En- Route Half Day sightseeing to the massive Tibetan Buddhist Gompas of Shey, Thiksey and 3-idiots school. A few kilometers up the Indus is Shey, the ancient capital, with its palaces, temples, and vibrantly colored murals, cleaned and restored in the mid 1980’s. Later we drive to visit the fortress styled monastery of Thiksey. . This monastery is known to be the most famous and rich Buddhist temple in the entire region. The Murals and frescoes here date back to 17thcentury. After we explore the sacred monastery, we drive back to our hotel in Leh. In the evening, we will spend some time roaming around the markets. Stay overnight at your hotel.

Day 09: Departure:

After breakfast drive back to the airport for your flight to onward destination with beautiful memories of Ladakh tours with Travel Partner.
